Indonesia Country Manager
Setyadi Ari Wibowo

Setyadi Ari Wibowo’s career journey is a story of the evolution of a leader who grew through cross-sector experiences and great challenges. From telemarketing to holding strategic positions as Head of Sales at Tomoru Indonesia and Country Manager for Futurescale Digital, he has become one of the main drivers of digital transformation in Indonesia, especially in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry.
​Setyadi began his career as a telemarketer at PT Infomedia Nusantara, where he learned about the importance of effective communication and understanding customer needs. With hard work and dedication, he became part of the best e-service team in the country, highlighting the quality of his work and his ability to face challenges with fast and precise solutions.
​
At Telkom Indonesia, he began to expand the scope of his role as a Community Development Staff. Here, he not only runs Corporate Social Responsibility programs, but also leads strategic initiatives that have an impact on the local community, such as beach reforestation and social programs at orphanages. This experience gave him deep insight into the importance of impact-oriented leadership.
Setyadi's career continued to grow when he joined PT Global Chemindo as a Technical Sales Engineer, where he learned to combine technical skills with strategic selling. His experience was further matured at PT K-24 Indonesia, where he successfully led this pharmacy chain to rapid growth as a Franchise Expansion Manager. With a strategic vision based on data, he identified strategic locations and opened new business opportunities in various regions of Indonesia, even in hard-to-reach areas.

During the pandemic, he faced one of the toughest challenges of his career with Limate Pro-Tech. As General Manager, he led a PCR laboratory project, managed a complex licensing process, and established strategic partnerships with hospitals and large companies. Under his leadership, the project made a significant contribution in meeting the need for PCR testing during the global health crisis.

Becoming a Leader in the Digital Era
A new chapter in Setyadi's career began when he entered the technology industry. As Regional Sales Manager at Shipper and Sales Supervisor at SwipeRx, he played a key role in introducing digital solutions to thousands of pharmacies in Indonesia. Through a combination of technological innovation and a customer-centric approach, he helps clients improve operational efficiency and pave the way for their business transformation.
Now, at Tomoru Indonesia, Setyadi leads the expansion of AI voicebot and chatbot technology. The challenges he faces include educating the market about the benefits of AI technology, dealing with resistance to change in traditional companies, and establishing strategic partnerships with companies and government institutions. With his leadership, Tomoru Indonesia has expanded its footprint in various sectors, such as BFSI, fintech, and hospitality, making AI a strategic tool for business efficiency and growth.

As Country Manager at Futurescale Digital, Setyadi takes his vision to the next level, leading AI development initiatives to help Indonesian companies adapt to the digital era. He continues to solve major challenges, such as building market trust in new technologies and creating AI-based solutions that are relevant to the specific needs of industries in Indonesia.

About Me
I am an AI enthusiast and strategist with a strong passion for leveraging emerging technologies to solve real-world business challenges. With over 15 years of experience in sales, business development, and strategic partnerships across various sectors—ranging from FMCG and retail to fintech and digital platforms—I bring a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead and build high-performing teams, launch innovative go-to-market strategies, and scale new business models from the ground up. I’ve held leadership roles at reputable companies such as Unilever, H.M. Sampoerna, Transmart, Akulaku, KoinWorks, Wagely, and Modalku, where I focused on creating value through collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centric execution

In addition to my corporate experience, I’ve also served as a management and sales consultant, working with both private companies and government institutions. In this role, I’ve helped organizations clarify their business needs, craft strategic solutions, and optimize performance—particularly in the areas of sales growth, distribution strategy, and digital transformation. I continue to provide market insights as an advisor at Guidepoint, sharing practical perspectives with global clients navigating complex business environments

Currently, I’m channeling my expertise into the AI space, particularly in conversational AI and voice technology, where I see massive potential to transform customer engagement, sales, and support functions. As Head of Sales at Futurescale Digital Indonesia, I’m working at the forefront of AI-driven solutions, helping businesses adopt AI-powered voicebots to optimize telesales and customer service performance
